Dark Water Rising

“Dark Water Rising” is a feature documentary film which follows the heroic efforts of volunteers dedicated to rescuing animals left behind in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The film has been selected to become a part of the permanent archives of the Smithsonian Institute. >view clip
Inside Iraq

In 2003, filmmaker Mike Shiley traveled to Iraq to see the reality of the war for himself. The feature film documents his two month journey and now serves as a time capsule capturing the shifting relationship between Iraqis and American soldiers before the insurgency gained strength. >view clip
